The Art of Drawing
The Artist drinks ink.
He eats paper.
His finger stains are red,
Filling each vial,
To feed the nib,
Where his art intelligence
Does not lie.
If only you knew,
The gifts of art,
Then you would blindly see,
The perspectival infinite,
Light, lifting line,
In instantaneous Time,
“C” to the power of “c”.
