Me, Young Ego

The troubles of the world
Would very soon be righted,
If only everyone would see
That I, young as I am,
Already know what should be done.
Why am I so contradicted?
I am the only one to see, to hear
The obvious! Look at my auburnt hair
And my curls seething in a world on fire,
Like Leonardo’s mane.
No one listens to me.
Everyone around me is just totally oblivious
Of my knowing everything
One needs to know. “I ask you! No, me”!
